Yes to the Dress Party at Hotel Ella | Austin, TX

There are so many sessions I want to share from the past few years. Many people and moments I want celebrate.

This was a delightful day back in 2017. (And just a month later, I was in New Orleans with Mindy for her engagement photos with her husband Jeremy.)

To help her decide between three possible wedding dresses, Mindy reserved a room at Hotel Ella as the backdrop for spending an afternoon with her mother, aunt, grandmother and closest lady friends while she tried on her options. It also turned into a chance to take portraits of her in each dress in a space that so perfectly reflects her New Orleans vibe.

I love that she took something that could be stressful or tedious (deciding on her wedding dress) and made it a celebration she could share.
